Cyber Security

Very interesting point he has made by Jonathan Ninh in his blog "The voice of Democracy" on cyber security. You are absolutely right that the new era has allowed the passage and creation of a new breed of criminals: cyber thieves and hackers. Internet plays vital role in our life. It is the most common means of communicationn people use for every purposes. But there are many risks, some more serious than others. Among these dangers are viruses erasing your entire system, someone breaking into your system and alerting files, someone using your computer to attack others, or someone stealing your credit card informaton and making unauthorized purchases. It sounds true that US government has responsibility of protecting their citizens in the safety of their own computer just as much as protecting Americans in their own homes. As Ninh said obama recognized the critiocal issue of cybersecurity and paved the way for a dimension of focus in crime by creating a cybersecurity likewise other political leaders also need to show their interest on behave of cybersecurity.
US government is taking some step which is good sign to reduce cyber crimes that are rapidly rising with each passing year. Ninh idea about cybersecurity is very clear and acceptable.

Nowrasteh: Texas shouldn't copy Arizona's anti-immigration law

" Never dig a hole for yourself "

"Texas Rep. Debbie Riddle....... , Does her step on "Arizona-style immigration law" helps texas to built up its economy? OR drive towards rough economy?????

This article "Texas shouldn't copy Arizona's anti-immigration law" talk about the Arizona's style immigration law that might bring a big economic changes "possibly negative", since lots of big businesses are run by immigrants. Texas state Rep. Debbie Ridddle made headline recenntly for introducing an arizona-style immigration law called HB 17 that would be disastrous for texas. Riddle's bill is like a page and only deal with indentifying and removing undocumented immigrants during police stops if the the officer think they are without proper documentation. The law makes no any allowance for legal immigrants like refugees awaiting court hearing and for extention for their visa. Writer in this article is in favor of immigrants whether they are legal or illegal. A leading group on entrepreneurship research, 540 out of every 100,000 immigrants start a new business every month. Immigrants are more active in opening new businesses which is good for themselves and good for country economy. Country collect lots of tax from their businees. Besides that, they bring lots of job opportunities for unemloyed people.

I don't think it makes any sense for passing "Arizona style anti-immgration law". Texas relies heavily on state sales taxes, so even undocumented immigrants pay their "fair" share for public services. HB17 will harm business and blot texas. Country economy is getting worser and worser. Lots of people are laid off from their job. Think if there were not immigrants owned businesses how bad the economy would be? So, As the writer of this article said " Arizona-style anti-immigration laws could kill the goose that lays the golden egg", the economy will be at buttom line whereas crimes, murder, unemployment will be at top line.

The War on Terror and Foreigon Aid Costs Too Much

This article "The war on terror and foreign aid costs too much" posted by Philip Stiefer in his blog is worth reading article. His idea in this article is about united states facing bad economic problem so people cannot afford to maintain the war on terror and spending billion of dollars on foreign aid which costs too much. There is one saying " be strong on self to help other". The country itself should be economically strong to provide billion of dollar as foreign aid. United state spends billion of dollar on war. The main purpose of foreign aid is to develop its business worldwide, maintain security, fight against drugs and mantain good democracy. Government provides trillion of dollar on Iraqi aid where this money is corrupted and end up in private bank account. The government should cut on Useless foreign aid and benefits united states economy and contribute to the defense of country. Since country started spending billion of dollar on war on terror, the economy is falling down. So, I think if goverment formulate new strategy on foreign aid and war, it might improve bad economic crisis that country is facing now as Stiefer mentioned in his article.

Pitts: The failure of multiculturalism

Pitts: The failure of multiculturalism

Multiculturalism has completely failed can't be true...is abstract thought

Human beings are social beings. They need culture, tradition, help, sympathy, love etc., among eachother. The idea that people living side by side and happily with eachother can never be failed. Its fails only on those people who think multiculturalism in negative way. In this article, Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany believe in fail of multiculturalism. Markel insisted that germany still welcome immigrants with high skills and make them valuable workers but she doesnot want to think that how much role those high skill workers plays for german development process. She says that, "much of europe is struggling to manage an influx of immigrants of Arabic origin and Islamic faith", that is german-ness and under assault. All of her thought and idea in this article sounds like antagonism.

I think the Markel is trying show his racism on muslim socity who are living in german and the writer of this article is favoring his idea. He is giving lots of example that proves muslims are lowering the nation's intelligence. Besides, some of the newspaper of england says that almost third of german think that their nation is run by foreigners. I am pretty confuse about "do they think that country by itself can develop without foreign support or help?". All the idea in this article is about anti-culturism and discrimination. Markel idea shows threaten that might be seen in United states because of musilms and hispanic society. I dont think it will be good idea to consider german idea as a source in united states. German is like only the country that cannot handle cultural diversity. The writer in this article is totally german based. He is favoring Markel idea which sounds stupid. United state is country of Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty so united states says multiculturism can't fail.

Austin's Capital Metro no longer can afford free rides

Can capital metro exist long with its financial predicament???

This article,"Austin's Capital Metro no longer can afford free rides", published in Austin American statesman explain about financial problems faced by Capital metro because of mismanagement and poor planning. This article says that UT pays half of what it cost capital metro to transport students and other around its Austin campus. Because of financial woes, agency failed to plan for and lagging sales tax revenue so, capitol metro want to revisit contract in every two year instead of every three year. UT is paying nearly half the cost for the specialized shuttle service which is reasonable plus, what students, staff and faculty pay in sales taxes, that finance Capital Metro's operating budget. Besides that there should be other fare policies that should be shown sooner because they are facing huge financial liabilities that are depleting Capital Metro's budget. If they face such financial problem for couple of more year then they might need to close capital metro.

Article says, "Capital Metro no longer can afford a fare policy that awards free rides to seniors and people with disabilities. It is not a policy based on need; all seniors and people with disabilities — no matter how wealthy — get that break". Thats true because it doesnot make any sense to reward them free ride. If they were financcially strong then they could have done that but in this critical condidtion they need to find the option that helps to raise their finance. They dont mean to be rude or against disabilities act but the condition they are facing made them to be strict.

I think poor management policies made them in such a bad financial condition. The agency would be in much better shape if they had raised bus fare when the economy was in good condition. In every business there should be future plan as well as good management system. If capitol metro have had good management team and future plan they wouldnot have faced such a bad financial condition.

An ally against Mexico's terror

Is Mexico Losing it's "Free" Press?
A summary of the article "An ally against Mexico's terror," that was published in the Austin American Statesman, September 30th, 2010.

This article "An ally against Mexico's terror" written in Austin American Statesman focuses mainly on " Mexico losing its free press rights". The writer says that the US government has started the approach of journalist protection giving them political asylum against drug related violence and those that are losing free speech. The article tries to clarify this issue by giving an example of Mexican journalist Jorge Luis Aguirre who fled to EL Paso two year before after he received death threats for writing critically about state officials.

Mexicans are in constant danger from multiple fronts and journalists are mainly target for their work. Government instead of giving them security, they are threatening them because they are making good money from those drug dealers. Mexican journalist are really facing critical problems in their safety and security on their press right. They cannot trust any one whoever he/she is because even their coworkers might be cartel informants. Mexican journalist have more trust on US government than Mexican government.
"A free press is essential to an empowered citizenry, government accountability and responsible economic development" so, I think government should support on free press right.

Homeland Security chief rebuffs Gov. Rick Perry on U.S. border patrols

This article "Homeland Security chief rebuffs Gov. Rick Perry on U.S. border patrols" published in "The Dallas morning News" tries to explain about Govt. Perry demand on more national guard along the border. In this article Federal government secretary Jenat Napolitano says " there is no change in the border security against illegal immigration and smuggling though federal government has already spend $600 million. Besides that, we can see the debating views between Ms Nepolitano and Govt Perry about adding the national security guard. Govt Perry says that, the technology and money invested in the border is not sufficient for border security whereas, Ms Nepolitano says, if Perry want to pay more for the guard he can pay but he wants federal govt to spend which is not possible to do because federal spend $600 million in addition for the border across from california to texas.

I think this article is worth reading because it explain about border problems that are still seen, though government has spend milloins of dollars for its security. Besides that, it explain the debate between Govt Perry and Ms Nepolitano. This article makes public clear about who is more responsible for national border security.
